Inspirational Board

Good morning beautiful people. After spending an hour looking at the ceiling today, I ended up feeling really inspired to finish off my inspirational board.

I wanted a working/study area, where I could sit down, relax and feel inspired to blog. The area is not 100% done yet, so I though sharing step by step pictures off my progress would be both inspiring for you guys and fun. My first step was putting together the inspirational board and I have to say I´m very happy with the results and I can´t stop peeking at the board from the sofa I´m currently blogging from.

The board is there to remind me of why I´m blogging and giving me inspirational vibes, for me the board represents what I think my blog is about:

Simple style

Fashion

Food

Hair/Beauty

Hard Work

Merge

Lately I have been a bit frustrated with my fashion sense / clothing style. Noticing that my personality is only coming across in some of my favorite outfits and not in every outfit, made me start to rethink on how to solve it. I´m a very ´first impression´ conscious person. And since I´m getting good at ´first impressions´ I want my style to be a 100% me, not half my style and half unsure of what I want.

We all know that throwing all your clothing out, starting from scratch and buying a whole new wardrobe worth of clothing is not something me as a student can really afford at the moment (though I wish I could). Figuring out while sitting down and having some thoughts around it, made be think the best way to go is taking baby steps by investing a bit here and there.

So my first trip in search of myself in fashion went to Merge, I went with Michael. He has a very clear idea of how I want my style to be and he also has a very good fashion sense, which to me felt like an added bonus to be honest. He turned out to do an amazing job at pulling out my first two outfits of four expensive / high quality items. I myself found one par of pants (dress suit type) that I knew would fit well with both what I wanted and what I need for my internship (more news on my internship coming up in a future post).

All in all I was a very happy girl at the end of the day, with four new pieces of clothing going into my future closet. Have a peak at my 4 new pieces of clothing that I feel represents me and what I´m after!
