Scandinavian Fairy Tale

Good morning!

Lately my inspirational sources are coming from web forums like Wehearit and Instagram. The main searching theme for me has been interior. My taste in interior has done a major jump from pink teenage girl to simple, wooden and Scandinavian type style.

My favorite colors within interior at the moment is; light wood, dark walnut wood. Followed by the colors light/dark blue, light/dark grey, black, white and beige. Which are all very simple and modern colors, that the last couple of years have become very common and popular.

I´m in love with very tall loft windows, you'll find them heaps in New York. They look so amazingly artistic and gives the room more like a cozy vintage look. As a creative person and living with two very creative flatmates, I have learnt to appreciate little things like windows that gives the room characteristics.

These pictures are showing what windows I really like and the blue, grey and white color codes that I´m thinking of for our next bedroom. Hope this gives all of you guys a few decor ideas, I use about 2-3 hours every day just looking at pictures that gives me that inspirational bliss.

The Food Truck Garage

If you ever travel to Auckland and want something good to eat, go to The Food Truck Garage. So worth going to, their vibe is very relaxed with a 1970´s style and I absolutely love it. Their color combinations with the wooden/steel furniture is very entertaining and they have an open kitchen solution so what you see is what you get. It´s a restaurant that is not going to leave you broke after a meal, with a very good menu that changes frequently. Splendid customer service, with a super friendly staff.

While being there I had the Chickette Burger with Blueberry & Apple Soda water (so tasty) and a Date Caramel Sundaes for dessert. It was mouth watering and so filling without feeling like a piglet afterwards!

Let´s just say if you're ever in Auckland, this is a place worth your time!

Inspirational Board

Good morning beautiful people. After spending an hour looking at the ceiling today, I ended up feeling really inspired to finish off my inspirational board.

I wanted a working/study area, where I could sit down, relax and feel inspired to blog. The area is not 100% done yet, so I though sharing step by step pictures off my progress would be both inspiring for you guys and fun. My first step was putting together the inspirational board and I have to say I´m very happy with the results and I can´t stop peeking at the board from the sofa I´m currently blogging from.
